Mandarin Garden is a a great restaurant, my wife and I love the food. Our go to dish is the tiny spicy chicken, highly recommend it!
24th Anniversary dinner. Very professional services and wonderful dinner.
They have some new delicious chef's specials that we tried. It was refreshing!
They have the best General Tso's around and always good service
Food came out cold. Waiter said the honey walnut shrimp was supposed to be cold-uh no! Our beef and broccoli was also cold, along with steamed rice. Waiter offered his microwave. After we complained again, and no offer to do anything else....we asked for a box to leave. The person taking the Bill asked how dinner was, we told her our entire meal was cold, she said she can't do anything about it, our waiter was the manger.I WONT be back. Poor food, poor service!
Delicious - as always. Mandarin is my steady go-to for Chinese food here in Cache Valley. They are known for Tiny Spicy, and that id always a good standby choice. Bit c'mon- live a little and get adventurous. Look around the menu. Kick things up a notch.Perhaps try the (off menu) Schezuan Chicken with garlic sauce. Get the 3 Kinds of spicy.Don't be afraid to get entree XYZ, then shake it up with sauce from entree ABC. It might become your new favorite. Singapore Noodles have right amount of yellow curry.Tell Kenny I said hello !
Mandarins one of the best Chinese food places you can visit, fast service and always excellent food never had a bad meal yet
Food was pretty good. Service was spectacular. Never even had to ask for anything!
They said it would be 15 minutes when we ordered, waited for an hour to get food, we have waited for 30 minutes to be seated when it hasn’t been busy. This is horrid customer service, I’ll start taking my business to a place that actually wants it.
Very good Chinese food & the service was very good too. Best in Logan.
Great food, but service can be a tad slow
This is my favorite restaurant ever. I grew up with the tiny spicy chicken, an absolutely legendary recipe unmatched anywhere else, as well as the cashew nut shrimp which is even more delicious. Every time I visit the town I eat dinner here if possible.
Recently updated/expanded lunch menu. Really liked the changes.
Friendly wait staff, decent wait times on food, and great portion sizes :) I especially love that they are open on Sundays
Always great food! They are famous for their Tiny Spicy Chicken, but I think their General Tso Chicken is better.
Food was good like usual but the place was so filthy that it just bothered me bad the tables were not wiped the floors and step we're filthy made me wonder what the kitchen look like.
I will not be going to Mandarin Garden ever again! The service today was HORRIBLE a party of 5 walked in before us and were seated right away we were asked how many in our party and were told they had no seats and when asked how long the wait was I was told "I don't know!!" And they just walked away then after sitting there waiting for 25 minutes and watching another larger table leaving a new person can onto shift and told us that there were no tables for our party for the rest of the night without a reservation! When have you ever had to make a reservation? And to be treated so rudely makes me extremely angry!!
No one came to serve us for 5 min. Then it was though we were an annoyance. Foods good, the same as always..I think they need different employees or management needs to treat the ones they have better?
Terrible service. After our party of 7 waited for 45 minutes in the lobby, we were rudely told that we wouldn’t be able to be seated AT ALL THAT NIGHT and that they were only taking reservations from that point on. This was at 4:30 pm. The food is decent but not worth dealing with bad customer service.
Good little place for atmosphere and food.
My experience was great. Food was fresh and waiter was on top of it. My cup was always full and before I even asked for a to go box he was already on his way with one.
Love the tiny spicy.
Good prices, good food. Tiny spicy chicken is amazing.
Very sad my friends suggested the mandrian garden and we had heard good things about them. The food was very bland. I was really sad I paid 11+ for the food and the only thing that tasted good was the rice. I called in and offered to bring the food back and asked if I could get a refund. They told me take out is always soggy and I must just not like there food. They said they wouldn't do anything to compinsate.I ended up tossing it.
Food was great and our waiter was SO good. Helpful and nice but not too chatty!!
The young woman at the counter was very friendly and courteous. We were waiting for our carry out order and she was nice to everyone who came in the door.
We have a family tradition of eating at a Asian restaurant on Christmas day. This has now grown to include 30 people and it is one of our favorite holiday activities. The restaurant is always so accommodating and the service is superb!
Of course trooper #5150 has to try all the General TSO'S chicken when he gets the chance. Probably the softest and more spicy then we've tried before. Still delicious. Came with crispy egg roll and fried rice. For Fora For a few cents more we got the so egg drop soup, very good.
This is one of our favorite places to go if we're hungry for Chinese food.
Food is good, service a little slow. New items on the menu, walnut shrimp being the wife's favorite and I like the classic General Tso.
This is my wife’s favorite place to eat. The staff are very friendly and always helpful and let us substitute things even if the menu says no substitutions. I think the food is okay, nothing to brag about but the price is pretty good for what you get. They have punch cards and you get one punch every ten dollars so we fill them up pretty quick. Sadly you can’t use them on certain days but the punch cards say nothing about that on them.
Service was "odd" , no introduction and the server came up from behind over the railing to talk to us and we didn't know who he was at first...awkward. We went out for New Years Eve and I had been craving Chinese food, we ordered the Lo Mein which is usually my favorite, but it was mushy and over cooked, our main dishes had way too much sauce and were served luke warm. The only thing i kind of liked was the fried shrimp, which wasn't even homemade, it was just some frozen pre-battered shrimp like Vandekamp :) . On top of everything, they offered me a to go beverage and it never came and then my husband was up sick most of the night...not a great first impression and we most likely won't return.
The food was pretty delicious and reasonably priced. I had a seafood plate and a drink for a little over 11$. I will come back and try more!
Mediocre food at best. Price was decent.
Not a lot of consistency with to-go portions. Usually very good but service hasn't been the best lately.
Great costumer service. The food is great also. If you're around stop by and have a bite!!!
The waitress did not ask if we wanted a glass of water with our meal. Food was good. Employee's where in kitchen and shift change when we got there. We waited a few minutes to take our order. My fried rice was forgotten with my meal. She went and got me a bowl after my meal was served. The tables where not cleaned.I may go back?
Pretty great Chinese food. I went here growing up and try to visit there a couple times a year when i make it up there. Pretty much anything is good there. Haven't had issues with taste or quality of food . The service has always been great as well.
BEWARE! If you get a BAD meal, they will NOT replace it! Normally I love their Tiny Spicy Chicken. But today the pieces were hard and crunchy like they had been sitting a while reheated in the microwave. Half the chicken was NOT editable. I called and they said unless I returned with it today they couldn't do anything. I was already home. They would not replace it on another day. After 20 years, I will go to Formosa in the future.
We went to another Chinese buffet restaurant across town and it looked pretty unappetizing. We left and went to Mandarin Garden at lunch time. They were packed (good sign) but you didn't have to wait. The service was fast and the food was good. Great taste for the hot and sour soup. I had the pork foo yong and it was great.
Their food is good but their bathrooms are really gross!!
Went to the restaurant on Saturday evening. Staff was unhappy when we asked not to be seated right by the cold front door. Had to take our drinks back and ask them to be refilled when empty, food was mediocre. When our server was finally found, he was unapologetic and blatantly rude. When we asked if there was a manager available to talk to, the staff would hardly give out the managers name. Laughed at us when we left. Not a good experience...Will not be returning!
Superb ambience and super affable service. The food was fresh and delicious. Will easily recommend this place to anyone. Convenient prices and big meals. Good job.
They are fast and the food is good!
My first time visit was a mixture of emotions, aromas, discomfort, and complete appreciation for the service and food. It would be scary to have the carpet steam cleaned. Once I got past the dingy appearance of the restaurant, the good smell and great tastes of the food made up for the surface shortcomings. The volume of food was very good for the price charged. I will be going back to sample the variety offered. Giving this place a thumbs up.
We have been eating at Mandarin Garden for nearly 17 years, but we were very disappointed this evening, The beef dishes were substandard, the fried wanton were impregnated with shrimp scales and the chicken was tough. I believe they have lost a customer!
Great restaurant! The portion sizes are large, good, and inexpensive. You will get full. The inside of the restaurant looks good and every waiter I've ever had has been polite. If you're not sure what to get try the chicken broccoli or the tiny spicy. The tiny spicy is large and only slightly spicy. Tiny = slightly. We went on a Monday night and the place wasn't packed. On a weekday during lunch the place usually has a bunch of people.
I always love eating here. The service is quick and polite, and the food is reliably delicious.
